Because many (perhaps 80%) of job openings never appear in online or print job listings, it can be necessary to identify potential employers in other ways. The "Employer Locator" at the CareerInfoNet can help you locate potential employers. The "Employer Locator" relies on statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and company information from InfoUSA which is also known at New Jersey Libraries as ReferenceUSA. The "Employer Locator" is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor

Using "Employer Locator" you can search by company name, occupation title, location, industry or keywords. The result will be a list of companies in the geographic area you pick.
