Monmouth County Summer Job Suggestions

The February Career Information Center program will be "Summer Job Suggestions".
Tuesday, February 15, 2011. 7pm-8:30pm. Monmouth County Library
Eastern Branch. 1001 Rt 35 (Broad St.) Shrewsbury, NJ 07702

Yes, it is only winter, but now is the time to look for a summer job. The Career Information Center librarian will present reports from the NJ Department of Labor that identify potential employers, industries and occupations. That report (the most recent report is for 2010) can be viewed at the following website.

Because the summer job opportunities are mostly in tourism related businesses, the librarian will also show how the 2011 Monmouth County "Travel Guide" can be your guide to summer employment. The "Travel Guide" can be viewed at the following website.
