Information Technology Job Trends

The Spring 2009 issue of Occupational Outlook Quarterly has an 8 page article on job trends in Information Technology. Overall IT occupations grew by about 8% from 2001 to 2007. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts overall growth from 2006 to 2016 at 24%, but those predictions were made before the current recession.

The Monmouth County Library's Career Information Center will present a program on Careers in the Educational Services Industry in Monmouth County on Friday, April 24th at 10am. New Jersey is the first state to qualify for funds from the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
